How a Custom History Wall Wrap Is Inspiring Students at Frazier High School

When The Stick Company launched the Wrap My Classroom Contest, the goal was simple: recognize an outstanding teacher while showing how custom classroom wall wraps can transform a learning environment.

The community was invited to nominate deserving educators for the opportunity to receive a custom classroom makeover designed, printed, and installed by The Stick Company. The winning classroom belonged to Mr. Ostrowski—better known to his students as “Mr. O”—at Frazier High School.

Mr. Ostrowski has taught U.S. History, AP U.S. History, and Geography at Frazier for the past 11 years. When students first told him they had submitted his name for the contest, he did not expect anything to come of it.

“A couple students passed me in the hallway and said that they’d put my name in, and I just thought and just laughed it off.”

About a month later, he learned that his classroom had been selected.

“It was a shock and surprise, but I guess an honor in a way, too, that students thought I deserved or was worthy of getting a wall wrap.”

Bringing History to Life with a Classroom Wall Wrap

The goal of the project was not simply to decorate the classroom. The Stick Company worked with Mr. Ostrowski to create a custom educational wall wrap based on the subjects and historical events he discusses with his students throughout the school year.

Mr. Ostrowski provided the basic concept and educational content, and The Stick Company’s team turned that idea into a large-scale classroom graphic.

“Working with The Stick Company was awesome. I just gave a basic idea or premise, and then you guys took that idea and literally made it come to life as a wall wrap.”

The completed wall wrap transformed an ordinary classroom wall into an engaging visual teaching tool that students can reference during daily lessons.

More Than Classroom Décor
