STICK IT TO MS.
The Stick Company and Stick Tattoo are continuing their work with the Walk MS Morgantown event that is taking place on Saturday, April 25 at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Park. Team Members Damian Ferek, Kim Johnson, Mark Johnson, Dan Lewis, and Brittany Nichols spearheaded the efforts on behalf of our companies, in addition to helping coordinate the event in conjunction with the MS Society.
Many of you are aware that this is an organization that is very near and dear to our company, as President Damian Ferek’s father, Terry Ferek, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1991 and continues to fight through the progression of the illness. In addition, Stick Tattoo Artist Dan Lewis volunteers his tireless efforts in memory of his mother, who lost her life to MS in 1996. It is because of these two individuals, and the countless others who suffer from MS, that we invite you all to join with us and help STICK IT TO MS.
There are many ways that you can participate—STICK TATTOO is currently holding a raffle where each tattoo artist from the shop including Dan Lewis, Brandon Volek, Brandon Moats, and Andrew Packard, will be donating a $100 gift card and Stick Tattoo t-shirt. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased at the store and will run $5 per ticket, or $20 per five tickets. The drawing for the giveaway will be held on Saturday, April 25, in conjunction with the Walk MS Morgantown. One hundred percent of the money raised will be donated to the MS Society.
To wrap up the fundraising efforts, Stick Tattoo will be hosting Nashville sensation Brynn Marie for a benefit acoustic set at the tattoo shop on Friday, April 24, from 6-7pm. We invite everyone down to see this unique on-site performance. We will be giving away tickets for Brynn’s upcoming show at Schmitt’s Saloon on Sunday, April 26. For more information on Brynn Marie, be sure to check out her website and music video here— www.brynnmarie.com
And concluding the MS week festivities, Team Stick will be on site bright and early to volunteer and help coordinate the MS Walk/Run with some truly amazing and inspiring individuals on Saturday starting at 8am. If you cannot make the event, you can still participate and help Team Stick in the event by donating online. Remember, every little bit helps. You can donate to Team Stick by following the link.
