Iron Sharpens Iron at Core Natural Resources

Core Natural Resources, Arch, Consol

From all of us at The Stick Company, we want to congratulate all of our friends at Arch Resources and Consol Energy on the successful merger and launch of Core Natural Resources.

Our team was excited to help design and produce their internal merger campaign, ‘Iron Sharpens Iron,’ which was unveiled at their operations following the official launch. This internal design initiative was created to celebrate the new partnership and highlight the advantage of two industry leaders coming together as one unified team. The phrase “Iron Sharpens Iron” speaks to the strength and mutual growth that can be achieved when two great organizations align their resources, vision, and expertise.

The campaign featured custom signage and posters displayed across all Core operations in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Colorado and Wyoming. These designs serve as a daily reminder to their team members that they are stronger together.

The Stick Co. launches new website for furry friends at the Mon County Humane Society

Whenever we have the chance to create a design that can make a difference for people or animals, we’re always grateful for that chance. When the Mon County Humane Society approached us to design and develop their new website, we jumped at it. Not only could we flex our creative muscles a little bit, but it was also a chance to support a cause near and dear to our hearts: helping animals in need. There’s not a single person at The Stick Company that isn’t a serious dog and/or cat lover, so if we could channel that into creating an online presence for that would amplify the mission of the Mon County Humane Society, we had to do it.

The new website for the Mon County Humane Society is a hub of information, action, and community support. Designed with user-friendly navigation, the site makes it easy for visitors to learn about the society’s spay and neuter programs, volunteer opportunities, and educational resources. A streamlined interface ensures that users can quickly find the information they need, whether it’s applying for a spay/neuter voucher or discovering ways to contribute to the society’s mission. Every detail was crafted to ensure the Humane Society could connect with their audience and provide essential services efficiently.

What sets this project apart is how the website reflects the heart of the Mon County Humane Society. From warm, welcoming visuals to thoughtfully organized content, every aspect of the site speaks to their dedication to animals. We added engaging features like an interactive FAQ section and a donation portal to encourage community involvement. Our goal was to create a site that doesn’t just inform but inspires action, whether it’s adopting responsible pet practices or contributing to the society’s life-saving programs. It’s a virtual meeting place for animal lovers, united by a shared commitment to humane treatment.

Our furry friends inspire us every day, so designing this site was not just a professional achievement but also a personal joy for our team. We’re proud to have partnered with the Mon County Humane Society and to have played a role in supporting their mission. This project reminded us of why we do what we do: we create solutions that not only look great, but also hopefully make the world a little bit brighter of a place.
