STICK and HyperDips Team Up for WFBY Vehicle Wrap

WFBY is a local radio station known for their popular classic rock hits and bold, edgy culture and on-air personalities. Knowing STICK could get the job done, the radio station contacted us to design and install a vehicle wrap to reflect this distinct brand personality. Serving the role of a remote location for live broadcasting away from the station, the WFBY vehicle needed to be loud and eye-catching without looking chaotic or cluttered.

“The wrap is an explosion of complimenting colors and eye-catching designs,” said STICK designer and installer, Cullen “Scooter” Masney. “It was a fun wrap to install and I know it will give them brand consistency they were looking for.”

Showcasing provided musician photos, the vehicle wrap pulls together the core selection of music featured on the WFBY website. STICK worked closely with WFBY to deliver a product that was a brand specific and eye-catching mobile billboard. STICK also worked closely with HyperDips to give a makeover to the vehicle’s tires.

“We saw the opportunity to offer casket wrap services and knew we could offer families a quick turnaround during their time in need,” said STICK Wraps Manager Jarrod Miller. “When Mr. Jenkins told me the about the family’s reaction after seeing the casket wrap, it felt awesome to know we helped them through a tough time.”

Custom Vehicle Wrap for Jeep Wrangler

We STICK anything—even our own vehicles! In the beginning of 2014, STICK Wraps Manager Jarrod Miller decided his newly purchased Jeep Wrangler needed a unique, personalized touch.

“When I bought the Jeep, it was silver with chrome accents,” said Miller. “I’ve always wanted a matte Jeep, so I decided to go with a “midnight sand” vehicle wrap color.”

The entirety of the design was a team effort, as Fairchance, Pennsylvania based custom vehicle auto-coloring company, HyperDips, partnered with Miller to dip the Jeep’s hinges, wheels, gas tank cover, grill and other accents in black. Overall, the process was more time consuming than typical STICK vehicle wraps.

“It took some time to take off the hood and spare tire, and to wrap the inside doors as well,” said Miller. “In the end, the time and work was definitely worth it.”
The vehicle wrap and dipped accents completely transformed the Jeep, making it almost unrecognizable to its original state.

“My family thought I bought a brand new car,” Miller said. “I’m extremely happy with the finished result.”

Jungle’z Express Gets a New Trailer Wrap

Jungle’z Gutter Express is a gutter and construction company located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Serving multiple areas in West Virginia, this company came to STICK, LLC for a much-needed makeover on the company’s trailer.

STICK worked with sister-company, Asayo Creative, to create the design for the trailer wrap.

“The client wanted us to use realistic photos of animals to make the trailer look like a real jungle,” said STICK designer, Maria Ashenfelder. “We used real photos of the jungle and animals, with a main emphasis on the gorilla.”

The STICK team carried out the straightforward installation in a matter of hours. The end result of the trailer wrap was a colorful, eye-catching design that successfully gave the appearance of a real life jungle.

STICK Designs NASA Trailer Wrap

Long-time partners at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in Fairmont, West Virginia contacted STICK to spice up the agency’s box trailer, used as a mobile education unit for the Robotics Alliance Project.

After successfully working with STICK to install wall wraps inside of NASA’s Fairmont facility, the NASA team knew the guys at STICK had the skills to create a trailer wrap that would effectively brand and promote the program.

After the initial meeting, the STICK team was excited to get to work and implement the creative ideas for the trailer wrap.

“The design of this project was actually a lot of fun,” said STICK Owner, Damian Ferek. “NASA supplied various renderings that we were able to use for this project.”

The final result turned out to be six separate renderings combined to form the ground texture, NASA equipment and other components of the trailer wrap.

“There are a lot of eyes on a federal agency like NASA,” said STICK Designer Rob Guzik. “This will definitely spark the curiosity of people passing by.”
